Luther:

To celebrate and build anticipation for the release of Luther: The Fallen Sun, we had to ask ourselves: how can we bring the sinister ‘I’m watching you’ feeling from the film into the real world, and appeal to both new and existing fans?

We decided the best way to do this was by leveraging the starpower of Idris Elba, and his known image as Luther, while ‘secretly’ introducing the public to the newest villain on the block; David Robey, a cyber psychopath.

The film lays heavily the into the themes of good vs evil, always being watched when you least expect it and bringing people's darkest secrets to light.


The Big Idea


What if we create a forensic-style billboard, where new elements and a hidden message reveal themselves at night, by using UV lights?





COOL, RIGHT? YES.

The concept was translated to feature on DOOHs and online banners too.

Brand Love

The Brand Love Campaign was created to remind people in the Benelux region just how much they love the characters, content and stories on Netflix’s platform.

We chose three interest categories - Travel, Babies/Kids & Maternity, News & Entertainment - to target people with on social media, and the snappy edits did the rest!
